Welcome to the Oden House

The House

In 1934, former Yale Professor Henry Farnam Jr. built the stately Georgian-style house. The Oden house continues the gracious hospitality of the former Farnam Guest House with the addition of a specialized book collection and digital archive.

Commons spaces include: dining room with self-service coffee and tea station; a blue study with a specialized book collection and fireplace; and free wifi throughout. We also have a working 1915 Cornish & Co. pump organ.
